SWV is a system for cataloguing Siza’s works. Created in the same way as Bach’s BWV, it associates an identifying acronym (the SWV) with a chronologically based alphanumeric system (as in opus cataloguing) that chronologically identifies each of Siza’s works.

The following triptychs offer us the context of possible Geographies of Siza Baroque.

“A Actualidade do Barroco”, by Eduardo Souto de Moura

The conference A Actualidade do Barroco was presented for the first time by Eduardo Souto de Moura in May 2015, closing, at the time, the Clérigos Conference cycle.

Given its importance and relevance as a state of the art for this research, it will be repeated by the author (“repeating is never to repeat”– Siza), opening Siza Baroque programme.
