SWV is a system for cataloguing Siza’s works. Created in the same way as Bach’s BWV, it associates an identifying acronym (the SWV) with a chronologically based alphanumeric system (as in opus cataloguing) that chronologically identifies each of Siza’s works.

The architects Ana Tostões and José Miguel Rodrigues were part of the International Seminar ‘Oltrepassando frontiere: scambi, interferenze e circolarità della cultura progettuale. Italia – Spagna – Portogallo 1975-2000’ held on the 25th October 2022 by the Politecnico di Milano with the contribution of the Department of Architecture and Urban Studies under the responsibility of Federico Deambrosis, Fabiano Lemes de Oliveira, Carles Muro and Daniele Pisani. The seminar included a lecture by Ana Tostões, entitled ‘Una cultura archittonica tra storia e progetto’, and also a lecture by José Miguel Rodrigues entitled ‘Architettura con testi, diaspora della teoria grassiana’.
